On Zoom

Have you ever wondered how to effectively maintain relationships with young people while enforcing boundaries? In this engaging workshop you will learn strategies that foster a connected and firm approach.

Discover powerful tools that encourage responsibility while nurturing strong connections with young people. This workshop builds on Reimagining Resilience 1: Using a Trauma Lens. While we recommend taking RR1 first for deeper understanding, it is not mandatory.

Join us in a supportive community of educators, youth workers, and caretakers as we explore ideas that encourage empathy, accountability, internal agency, and problem-solving skills in the young people you serve.

You will:

  • Understand the brain’s stress response, and how you can create a safe, connected environment which is foundational for learning.

  • Explore connected and firm responses to improve relationships and empower both adults and young people.

  • Identify and practice strategies for joint problem-solving, repairing mistakes, and making agreements with young people.

  • Learn how to build awareness and advocate alongside young people who have experienced trauma.
