You can create a school environment where students and adults want to be

Rooted Relationships gives you practical tools to build belonging, strengthen relationships, and create a community where young people are engaged in learning, contribute to problem-solving, and take an active role in their classroom community.

You’ll gain:

  • Practical brain science and regulation tools for yourself and youth
  • A deeper understanding of trauma and behavior—and new ways to effectively respond with empathy
  • Tools to shift from control and compliance toward “power with” approaches
  • Skills to hold connection and firmness while helping young people take responsibility, learn from mistakes, and grow without shame
  • Confidence in leading Problem-Solving Class Meetings

Rooted Relationships draws from brain science, culturally responsive teaching, trauma and attachment theory, SEL, and Positive Discipline, translating research into practical strategies you can use right away.

Included:
